Notice on retaining the fingerprint of the visa applicant

2018-07-29

According to relevant Chinese laws and regulations, with reference to international practices and mature experience, since August 1, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Slovenia has begun to collect fingerprint information from Chinese visa applicants.

Applicants between the ages of 14 and 70 must submit their application and retain their fingerprints in person at the Consular Section of our library. In the next 5 years, if the applicant applies for a visa again in the Consular Section of our library with this passport, there will be no need to keep fingerprints again.

Personnel holding diplomatic passports or those who meet the conditions for the issuance of Chinese diplomatic, official, and courtesy visas, and those with ten fingers or ten fingerprints that cannot be retained may be exempt from fingerprints.
