On July 24, 2026, Ambassador Kang Yan met with Dr. Igor Senčar, State Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister of Slovenia.

Ambassador Kang noted that China-Slovenia relations have maintained a sound momentum of development in recent years. Next year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations. China stands ready to work with Slovenia to strengthen political mutual trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and advance the sound and steady development of bilateral relations.

State Secretary Senčar made positive remarks on bilateral relations, and expressed willingness to further strengthen cooperation with China. He reaffirmed that the Slovenian Government remains committed to the one-China policy.
